Cheap Chicago Cubs tickets

There is no Cubs home game to price this week.

Season over; lost NL Wild Card Series to Padres, Oct 1

On this week’s list

No game for the Cubs is on the priced list for Oct 15–25.

When tickets tend to be cheapest

The Cubs’ budget guide says upper-deck and terrace reserved outfield seats are the most affordable options at Wrigley Field, and that weeknight games, especially earlier in the season, tend to have lower demand.

A National Bureau of Economic Research paper on Major League Baseball resale markets found that list and sale prices tended to fall as the game got closer, by about 25% or more in the last month of that sample. It is not a 2026 forecast, and it does not cover a scarce rivalry. Use a checked get-in price from this site when one exists.

Best-value sections and seats

Use the Cubs’ budget guide rather than a guessed section number. It points to the upper deck and the terrace reserved outfield for the lowest official prices. Bleacher tickets are a separate general-admission seat; this page does not assign a price to them.

Cheap ways in

CUBS U is the Cubs’ college offer. Students 18 or older with a .edu address can text CUBSU to 88019. The team says offers are last-minute, limited to four tickets, and delivered in the MLB Ballpark app 90 minutes before the game.

The same budget guide describes a School Night Special on select weeknight home games that bundles a ticket with a hot dog and a nonalcoholic drink. No dollar amount for that bundle was copied here.

Getting there by CTA or Metra

The Cubs list the ballpark at 1060 W. Addison St., Chicago, IL 60613, and they tell fans to take transit.

CTA says Wrigley Field is half a block west of the Red Line Addison stop. Buses #22 Clark and #152 Addison stop at Clark and Addison. The Cubs also publish Metra connections that transfer onto the Red Line; follow their transportation page for the current transfer.

FAQ

Are the Cubs playing at Wrigley this week?

No. The 2026 season is over. They lost the NL Wild Card Series to the Padres on Oct 1.

What is CUBS U?

The Cubs’ text list for college students 18 or older with a .edu email. Text CUBSU to 88019. Offers are last-minute, capped at four tickets, and show in the MLB Ballpark app 90 minutes before the game.

Which L stop is Wrigley Field?

Red Line Addison. CTA says the ballpark is half a block west of the station.

Is there free Cubs parking?

The Cubs say the remote lot at 4650 N. Clarendon Ave. is free for night and weekend games in 2026, with a shuttle to Irving Park Road between Clark and Seminary. It is not a home-game week, so that lot is not running for a Cubs game right now.
