Wrigley Field guide

For a Cubs game, the ballpark guide is the rule. Bags larger than 16 by 16 by 8 inches are not allowed, and a personal amount of food plus a factory-sealed plastic bottle is.

The security page says prohibited items may be different for non-baseball events. There is no Cubs home game in this week’s file. The 2026 season is over.

Bag policy

The Cubs’ ballpark guide says backpacks, including clear backpacks, hard-sided coolers of any size, and bags larger than 16 by 16 by 8 inches are not permitted. Wallets, purses, drawstring bags, fanny packs, lunch bags, briefcases, and soft-sided coolers smaller than that size are permitted.

Exceptions are medical bags and diaper bags that accompany guests with young children. Bags are subject to inspection. The security page says the Cubs do not offer personal item storage.

Outside food and drink

The guide says factory-sealed plastic bottles and a personal amount of food, in a small disposable bag, can be brought in. Glass bottles, cans, alcoholic beverages, thermoses, and hard-sided coolers may not.

The prohibited-items list on that page says non-factory-sealed plastic bottles are permitted if they are empty. The accessibility guide says guests with dietary restrictions may bring food prepared at home in clear bags or containers.

Cheapest seating

The Cubs’ budget guide says upper-deck and terrace reserved outfield seats are the most affordable options at Wrigley Field, and that weeknight games, especially earlier in the season, tend to have lower demand.

No get-in was checked for this week, because the season is over.
